Climate-
Another reason our biome is such a great travel destination is our climate. The graph to the left shows our biome next to the others (blank-unlabeled). A favorite saying among locals here is, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute." Our biome's climate can seem unpredictable, but with the right knowledge you will be prepared for whatever it can throw at you! Precipitation and Temperature- The temperature of this biome ranges from -30 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius, with the average sitting at right about 10 degrees Celsius. Our average annual rainfall ranges from 750mm to 1500mm. Some of the most beautiful and noted features of this biome are the distinctly unique four seasons-- something you might not get elsewhere. Due to the four seasons our averages for temperature and precipitation are rarely the standard. In the winter the temperature drops a significant amount and precipitation falls as snow. The spring brings a warm temperature and heavy precipitation as rain. The summer can be very hot and humid with thunder storms and rainfall. Finally, the autumn brings cooler temperature and crisp, dry air. Less precipitation falls in this season. No matter what type of weather you like to see on a daily basis we have a match for you! Also, if you come to visit during spring and summer you will witness some of the most fantastic growing seasons on this Earth! |
